John Franklin "Johnny" Busbee

Mr. John Franklin "Johnny" Busbee, 33, died Monday, Oct. 3, 2005. He was a native of Flomaton and a resident of Wawbeek for most of his life. He was the chief of the Wawbeek Volunteer Fire Department and employed with the town of Flomaton for the past 10 years. He attended Sardis Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Trisha Busbee of Wawbeek; his parents, Frank and Margie Busbee of Flomaton; two sons, Corey Busbee and John Skyler Busbee, both of Wawbeek; a daughter, Elizabeth Brynn Busbee of Wawbeek; a brother, Ken Busbee of Clarksville, Tenn.; an uncle, Tom Busbee of Wawbeek; his grandparents, Mary Gilmore of Flomaton and Iona and P.L. Busbee of Jay, Fla.; and other family and friends.
Visitation will be held Thursday, Oct 6, from 6 to 9 p.m. at Eastside Chapel Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held Friday, Oct. 7, at 10 a.m. at the Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Jimmy Coley officiating. Burial will follow at Sardis Cemetery with Eastside Chapel Funeral Home directing. Pallbearers will be the Alabama Firefighter's Association
