Mrs. Donna McGhee White, 47, died Friday, Oct. 7, 2005. She was a native and long-time resident of Atmore. She was employed as Tribal Court Director with the Poarch Creek Indians and a member of the Atmore Apostolic Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Levi and Treacy Walker McGhee; a brother, Leo McGhee and two sisters, Imogene Sheets and Carlie Dalrymple.
She is survived by her husband, Randy White; eight sisters, Maratha Wilson, Helen Hallman, Deloris (Jerry) Kelley, Velma Crocker, Eldnar (Shirley) McGhee, Myrtis (David) Kinman, Judy McGhee, Eva Nell Burkett and one brother, Fred Lee McGhee, all of Atmore.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 9, at the Atmore Apostolic Church with the Rev. Harlen Morgan officiating. Burial followed at Oak Hill Cemetery with Atmore Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing. Pallbearers were the Poarch Creek Tribal officers and honorary pallbearers were her nephews and her brother-in-law.
