Mrs. Mary Melissa Grimes, 44, died Saturday, Oct. 8, 2005, at her residence in Century. She was a lifetime resident of the Century community. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her parents, Obie and Bennie Scruggs Foreman; and her brother, Mike Foreman.
She is survived by her husband, Randy Grimes of Century; her daughters, Lacie Miranda Grimes and Mari Merissa Grimes, both of Century; a brother, Tommy Foreman of Fairhope; and two sisters, Linda Youngblood of Saraland and Norma Lambeth of Milton, Fla.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, Oct. 12, at 2 p.m. at Flomaton Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Tony Richburg officiating. Burial followed at Poplar Dell Cemetery in Century with Flomaton Funeral Home directing. Pallbearers were Jeremy Grimes, Javis Grimes, Chris Medlock, Travis Keedy, Scott Youngblood and Scott Salvator.
