Mrs. Louise Armstrong Garrett, 83, died Friday, Oct. 14, 2005, at her residence in Brewton. She was a native of Chapman and had lived in the Brewton area for the past 40 years, coming from Evergreen. She and her husband co-owned Garrett's Florist for a number of years. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Brewton.
She is survived by her husband, Charles Ralph Garrett of Brewton; a son, Phillip D. (Joy) Odom of Brewton; two daughters, Angela O. (Wayne) Pugh of Brewton and Martha O. (Robert) Byrne of Mobile; a sister, Lottie Sue Allen of Toombsuba, Miss.; eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Sunday, Oct. 16, at 3 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Brewton with the Rev. Jack Fitts and the Rev. John Finklea officiating. Burial followed at Union Cemetery with Craver's Funeral Home directing. Pallbearers were Wayne Pugh Jr., Donald Pugh, Robert Keith Pugh, Neil Byrne, Charles Byrne and Julien Pugh.
