W.S. Neal High School graduate Teddrick Keaton has been named the head coach and director of football operations of the Lakeland (Fla.) Thunderbolts of the National Indoor Football League.
Keaton had previously served as the defensive coordinator of the NIFL's Odessa Roughnecks for the last one and a half seasons. During that time Odessa went 20-2, advanced to the playoffs both years, made it to one conference championship and his defenses were ranked among the top in all NIFL statistical categories. Keaton has also spent time as an assistant coach and director of football operations at Stillman College
Keaton is looking forward to his new challenge.
Ketaon, who graduated from W.S. Neal in 1995, now lives in Lakeland with wife Tracy and daughters Taylor and Tarhea.
