Mrs. Rosa Mae Lambeth, 85, died Sunday, Oct. 30, 2005, at a local nursing facility. She was a native and lifelong resident of Escambia County. She was a member of Pleasant Home Holiness Church in Flomaton and she was homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, J.T. Lambeth; two brothers, Ed Rufus Knowles and Floyd Knowles, and three sisters, Elsie Godwin, Myrtle Godwin and Esther Evans.
She is survived by two sons, John (Carolyn) Lambeth of Flomaton, and Gene (Cathy) Lambeth of Brewton; three grandsons, Johnny Lambeth, Jason (Kelly) Lambeth and Branden Lambeth; three great grandchildren and a special friend, Earl Evans.
Funeral services will be held today, Wednesday, Nov. 2, at 2 p.m. at Flomaton Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Jim Parkinson and the Rev. Raymond Wiggins officiating. Burial will follow at Traveler's Rest Cemetery in Flomaton with Flomaton Funeral Home directing. Pallbearers will be Branden Lambeth, Jason Lambeth, Jeffery Lambeth, Johnny Lambeth, Doug Pettis and Jeff Nowling. Honorary pallbearers will be A.D. Sale, Mark Harrison, Dennis Nowling and Norva Lee Golden.
