Mr. Arthur C. Larson, 93, former Brewton resident died Monday, Nov. 21, 2005. He had been a resident of Sun City since 1981.
He was the personnel manager at Container Corporation from 1956 to 1977 when he retired. He served as president of many organizations while living in Brewton including the Rotary Club, Library Board, United Fund, Chamber of Commerce, Methodist Church Board of Trustees, Brewton Country Club and the Arts Council. He received the Good Citizen Award in 1965 and &#8220Man of the Year” award in 1966, both from the Brewton Chamber of Commerce. He was a member of the Methodist church.
He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Edyth Larson and a son, Ronald (Janine) Larson of Newport News, Va.
