Maxine Elliott Black

Mrs. Maxine Elliott Black, 67, died Thursday, Nov. 24, 2005, in a Crestview nursing facility after an extended illness.
She was a native of Bradley and a former resident of Mobile before moving back to Bradley. She attended Bradley Assembly of God Church and retired from BellSouth with more than 25 years of service.
She is survived by two brothers, Thomas Earl (Evelyn) Elliott and Joe (Dean) Elliott, both of Bradley; one sister-in-law, Frances Elliott of Brewton; six nephews, two nieces and a number of other relatives.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Nov. 26, at 2 p.m. at Bradley Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Roy E. Davis and the Rev. Sonny Willingham officiating. Burial followed at the church cemetery with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
