The Alabama Cooperative Extension System is among 15 agencies that will benefit from the $90,000 campaign goal the United Fund has set for this year.
Funding is also used to support the youth programs involved in the Extension Service including youth 4-H and the County Foods Nutrition Program.
The United Fund gives more than 99 cents of every dollar it raises to the 15 member agencies.
