A local law to increase the pay of all school bus drivers in Escambia County will be introduced in the special session of the Legislature by Rep. Malcolm Edwards.
A truck that was &#8220junked” by the county was found operating today on the highway without a proper license.
Some 1,400 cotton farmers in this county are expected to vote in favor of continued price supports and acreage controls in an election Tuesday.
Ground-breaking services will be held Sunday at 4 p.m. for the new St. Stephens' Episcopal Church to be built here. The Right Reverend George Murray, suffragan Bishop of Alabama, assisted by the vicar, Mr. James Woodson will break ground for the chapel.
