Colder weather added to the Christmas holidays typically means more danger from heater fires, candle fires and Christmas tree fires. Brewton Fire Chief Lawrence Weaver wants everyone to be extremely careful with fires now that the weather has turned colder. He said there are certain rules that should be followed so that a fire that is needed for warmth doesn't cause injury or death.
