Funds provide living necessities

The Christian Community Benevolent Fund is among 15 agencies that will benefit from the $90,000 campaign goal the United Fund has set for this year.
Funding for the Christian Community Benevolent Fund helps the less fortunate in the Brewton area with emergency assistance for living necessities.
The United Fund provides funding for the Books by Mail program which annually sends out more than 6,00 books to rural and homebound residents in Escambia County.
The United Fund gives more than 99 cents of every dollar it raises to the 15 member agencies.
Donations can be mailed to United Fund of Brewton and East Brewton, P.O. Box 34, Brewton, Ala. 36427.
