Mrs. Watson LeGrande, 77, died Thursday, Dec. 15, 2005, in a Mobile hospital. She was a native of Brewton and spent most of her life here. She was a teacher at W.S. Neal Elementary School before her retirement and she was a member of South Bethel Church of God.
She is survived by a son, Lance (Peggy) Mayers of Mount Vernon, Ill.; a daughter, Tammy Chavers of Mobile; two brothers, Hubert Watson of Canyon Lake, Calif. and Marshall Watson of Brewton; three sisters, Ann McClellan of Brewton, and Stella (J.W.) Raybon and Evelyn (Frank) Vaughn, both of Theodore; four grandchildren; two great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Sunday, Dec. 18, at 1:30 in the chapel of Craver's Funeral Home with the Rev. Phillip Pettis officiating. Burial followed at Beulah Cemetery with Craver's Funeral Home directing. Pallbearers were Larry Anderson, Jeff Raybon, Mike Pruett, Keith Pruett, Evan Lancaster and Ashley Andress.
