Mrs. JoAnn James Pecevich, 57, died Sunday, Dec. 25, 2005, at a Pensacola Hospice facility after an extended illness. She was a native of Mobile and a former resident of East Brewton and Destin, Fla., before moving to Fort Walton Beach six years ago. She was a security guard with Shoreline Towers and was a member of Chapel of the Cross Episcopal Church.
She is survived by a son, Mike (Christal) Pecevich of Pace, Fla.; three grandchildren, Sara, Marissa and Miranda; three aunts, Etta Jean Alford and Maxine Hooks, both of East Brewton, and Elouise Hoopes of El Cajon, Calif.; and one uncle, Clinton Carden of East Brewton.
Visitation will be held Thursday, Dec. 29, from 10 to 11 a.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Dec. 29, at 11 a.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with Father Ken officiating. Burial will follow at Fort Crawford Cemetery in East Brewton with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
