Warhawks fall at Chattahoochee Valley

They only had one big surge, but it was enough to spark the Chattahoochee Valley Pirates to a 79-63 win over the visiting Jefferson Davis Community College Warhawks Monday.
The game was tied 21-21 when the Pirates ended the first half on a 21-5 run to take a 42-26 halftime lead.
The rest of the game was played on even terms although Chattahoochee Valley outscored JDCC 23-16 in the first 10 minutes of the second half to 65-42.
Arthur Richardson led the Warhawks (4-7 and losers of four straight) with 21 points, while Kedric Wilson added 18.
JDCC will travel to Bevill State-Jasper Friday and to Northwest Shoals Saturday.
