Mrs. Eloise Godwin Turner, 80, died Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2006, at her residence in Andalusia. She was a native of Flomaton, a former resident of Gulf Breeze and a resident of Andalusia since 1994. During her working years, she worked in Pensacola, Fla. at the disbursing office. She was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Virgie Beasley Godwin.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Hubert Turner of Andalusia; her son, Ronnie Turner of Andalusia; her daughter, Faye (Wayne) Anderson of Andalusia; her sisters, Imogene Russ of Gulf Breeze and Myrtle Reynolds of Mobile; three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Feb. 4, at 11 a.m. at Flomaton Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Ralph Morgan officiating. Burial followed at Hollywood Cemetery with Flomaton Funeral Home directing. Pallbearers were Beau Winkler, Rusty Coleman, Melvin Reynolds, Rayne Anderson, Jason Anderson and Chris Allen.
