The Jefferson Davis Community College Warhawks are not arguing about the 36 points Alabama Southern's Carlos Hughes scored while he was on the floor.
What they did question in Monday's 97-78 loss at Monroeville was how long Hughes should have been on the floor.
With Alabama Southern up five points with 11 minutes left, Hughes was headed to the bench for what was thought to be his fourth foul.
The Warhawks allowed 62 points in the second half after they trailed by just a 35-33 margin at halftime.
Kedric Wilson fired in 23 points to lead JDCC, while Arthur Richardson added 21.
JDCC's fourth straight loss dropped the Warhawks to 7-13 overall, 3-6 in the Alabama Community College Conference south division. Alabama Southern improved to 10-12 overall, 5-5 in the ACCC.
The Warhawks continue ACCC south play Thursday when they visit Wallace State-Selma at 7:30 p.m. JDCC is back home Saturday when it hosts Faulkner State at 7 p.m.

Chatt Valley downs JDCC
Too much Jamyron Steward and self-destruction over the final two minutes cost the Warhawks a 74-65 home court ACCC South loss to the Chattahoochee Valley Pirates Saturday.
Steward was a one-man wrecking crew, as he threw in 37 points. Twenty-one of those came in the second half.
As good as Steward was, it almost was not good enough. JDCC had a Chattahoochee Valley team (19-4 overall and 8-2 in the ACCC) down 64-63 with two minutes left when the Warhawks fell apart.
JDCC ended the game on a stretch where it had four straight turnovers, a missed-three-point shot, three straight missed free throws before it hit a charity toss and another missed three-point shot.
JDCC led nearly the entire first half before Steward hit one of his five three-pointers with five seconds left in the half to put the Pirates up 34-33.
The Warhawks led by as many as seven points on two occasions in the first half, the last of which came when Kedric Wilson hit a three-pointer with 8:10 left in the half to put the home team up 21-14. Wilson had previously contributed three other field goals that helped JDCC get off to the quick start.
The second half featured eight lead changes. A pair of three-pointers in the first four minutes of the second half helped the Pirates stretch their halftime advantage up to 44-38, but JDCC battled back and moved back in front 45-44 on a pair of buckets by Terren Spann and a three-pointer by Wilson.
The Warhawks took their biggest lead of the second half with 11:40 left when a steal and layup by Lyndon Butler made it 51-47. They matched that advantage with 4:09 left when Jairus Jackson drained a three-pointer from NBA range that made it 61-57.
After the Warhawks surrendered that lead a bucket by Steward with 3:28 left put Chattahoochee Valley on top 62-61, Jackson answered with another three-pointer that gave JDCC a 64-62 lead it would take into the final two minutes.
A three-pointer by Jeffrey Tinkler with 1:47 left put the Pirates back in front 66-64. It was a lead they would not relinquish. A field goal by Tarik Jackson and two free throws by Steward followed and put the visitors firmly in control with a 70-64 lead with 30 seconds left.
