Mrs. Georgia Maxine Calhoun Royce, 76, died Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2006, in a local hospital. She was a native of the Brewton area and returned to the area in 1969 after her husband's service in the military ended. She was a homemaker and a member of Full Gospel Community Church in Dixonville.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, William &#8220Bill” Royce of East Brewton; a son, Richard (Judy) Royce of Brewton; a daughter, Wilma Floyd of Pensacola, Fla.; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Friday, Feb. 10, at 2 p.m. at the chapel of Craver's Funeral Home with Pastor Earnie Calhoun and Pastor Bill Thompson officiating. Burial followed at Dixonville Cemetery with Craver's Funeral Home directing. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to The Gull Gospel Community Church in Dixonville.
