Mr. Alvin Watson, 51, died Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2006. He was a native of Brewton and lived most of his life in Brewton and New York. He was employed at the iron foundry and Alabama Ductile and was preceded in death by his mother, Mattie L. Brown.
He is survived by a brother, Willie M. Brown of Brewton; two uncles, John Watson of Brewton and Benny (Gloria) Watson of Philadelphia, Penn.; one aunt, Pearlene Chappell of Brewton and a host of other relatives and friends.
Graveside funeral services were held Saturday, Feb. 11, at 2 p.m. at Oak Grove Cemetery with the Rev. Dr. John O. Meeks officiating and Presley-Fluker Funeral Home directing.
