Mrs. Cleola Marie Hendrieth Smith, 81, died Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2006. She was a native and long time resident of Brewton. She had been employed as a beautician and worked at Judy Bond Blouse Factory. She was a member of Second Saint Siloam Baptist Church and was preceded in death by a son, Donald Wayne Smith.
She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Leroy Smith of Brewton; a son, Byron Ray (Eleanor) Smith of Ft. Meyers, Fla.; a daughter, Mary C. Smith of Brewton; four sisters, Ruby Vinson of Montgomery, Ellen Leonard of Daphne, Zelma Smith of Manhattan, N.Y., and Pauline Williams of Brewton; a brother, James Hendrieth of Brewton; several brothers-in-law; four grandchildren, one great grandson and a close friend, Roberta Floyd.
Funeral services were held Monday, Feb. 13, at 11 a.m. at Second Saint Siloam Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Willie J. Blue officiating. Burial followed at Baptist Hill Cemetery with Presley-Fluker Funeral Home directing.
