Mrs. Cora Belle Douglas, 76, died Saturday, Feb. 11, 2006. She was a native of Starke, Fla., and had been a resident of the Brewton area for the past 47 years, coming from Fernandina Beach, Fla. She was a homemaker and was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy H. Douglas.
She is survived by a son, David H. Douglas of Brewton; four daughters, Cynthia Beecher of Mobile, Rachel Amerson of Cummings, Ga., and Terry Douglas and Cora Belle Douglas, both of Brewton; 18 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, Feb. 14, at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Craver's Funeral Home with Bro. Harvey Ellis officiating. Burial followed at Green Acres Memorial Gardens with Craver's Funeral Home directing.
