Mr. Carl Bryant Etheridge, 72, died Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2006, in an Evergreen hospital. He was a native and lifelong resident of Conecuh County. He retired from the Conecuh County Road Department after more than 40 years of service. He was a member of the Full Gospel Worship Center.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Betty Mae Etheridge of Castleberry; a son, Phillip (Debbie) Etheridge of Brewton; a sister, Margie Calloway of Castleberry; six grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Thursday, March 2, at 2 p.m. from the chapel of Craver's Funeral Home with the Rev. Dusty Coover and the Rev. David Baggett officiating. Burial followed at Holland Cemetery with Craver's Funeral Home directing. Pallbearers were David Baggett, Clayton Barlow, Doyle Baggett, Billy Ray Singleton, Rusty Bethune and Steven Baggett.
