Mrs. Beckey Vickery Shivers, 51, died Thursday, March 9, 2006, in Flomaton. She was a native and former resident of Atmore and a resident of Flomaton for the past 14 months. She attended Unity Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Roy Shivers Jr. of Flomaton; two sons, Michael (Sherra) Shivers of Dothan and Brian (Rebekah) Shivers of Canoe; four grandchildren, Bethany Shivers and Rachel Shivers, both of Canoe, and Michael Shivers Jr. and Lani Shivers, both of Dothan; three sisters, Judy (Bill) Branum, Penny (Galen) Walker and Peggy (John) James, all of Atmore.
Funeral services were held Saturday, March 11, at 10 a.m. at the Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Doug Odom and the Rev. Keith Johnson officiating. Burial followed at Oak Hill Cemetery with Petty-Eastside directing. Pallbearers were Brian Taylor, Travis LaCombe, Chad Walker, Chuck Walker, Brad James and Ryan James.
