Mr. Edward Ray Cain, 62, died Sunday, March 19, 2006, in a Conecuh County medical center after an extended illness. He was a native of Escambia County and a long-time resident of Conecuh County. He was of the Holiness faith and a retired truck driver.
He is survived by two brothers, Leo (Mable) Cain of Castleberry and Burns (Agnes) Cain of Range; four sisters, Eula Mae Pugh and Wilma Chavers, both of Brewton, Ophellia (Foy) Chavers of Molino, Fla., and Betty Faye (Buford) Madden of Castleberry; a special niece, Morgan Madden; a special nephew, Lenden Pugh; a special caregiver, Shirley Barlett of Range and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held today, Wednesday, March 22, at 11 a.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Russ McDonald and the Rev. Harian Ard officiating. Burial will follow at Weaver Cemetery on Appleton Road with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
