Mrs. Jo Ann Mahowald, 71, died Saturday, March 18, 2006, in Pensacola, Fla. She was a native and long time resident of Flomaton. She was a former employee of Albert's Steak House and she was preceded in death by her brother, John &#8220Bubba” Blount.
She is survived by her son, Larry (Phillys) Davis of Fayetteville, Tenn.; her daughter, Laura Ann (Lonnie Travis) Roberson of Flomaton; a sister, Carolyn Lambeth of Citronelle; six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Graveside funeral services were held Tuesday, March 21, at 11 a.m. at Godwin Cemetery with the Rev. Jerry Keese officiating and Petty Funeral Home in Atmore directing.
