Two men were fatally injured Wednesday morning when their vehicles collided along U.S. 31 near the 76-mile marker.
According to a state trooper news release, Marcus Andre Hart, 38, of Castleberry, and Thomas Eugene Still, 57, of Repton, were both fatally injured in the head on collision.
A state troopers report shows that Hart was traveling in a 2006 Ford F150, and Still was traveling in a 2000 Chevrolet S10 pick-up truck.
Initial reports indicate that Hart was not wearing a seat belt and Still was wearing his seat belt.
Kenny James, who was Still's tool foreman at Smurfit Stone, said he couldn't say enough good things about him.
