Mr. Thomas Jefferson &#8220Buster” Hawkins, 90, of Mason Mill Pond Road, died Friday, March 31, 2006, at his residence after an extended illness. He was a native and life-long resident of Escambia County and was a United States Army veteran. He was a retired photographer and of the Protestant faith.
He is survived by a son, Rodney (Debra) Hawkins of Brewton; three daughters, Betty Jean (Willard) Minchew of East Brewton; Gail (Gene) Fuqua of Brewton, and Darlene (John) Woodcock of Riverview; eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Graveside funeral services were held Monday, April 3, at 11 a.m. at Cooper Cemetery with Dr. Robert Kirkland officiating and Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral home directing.
