Frank Lutrell used to slide down the banister at the Bracken home on Belleville Avenue.
The Bracken house was once the home of Oscar Forney Luttrell, Frank Luttrell's grandfather. It was one of four homes on tour last week for an event that raises money for scholarships and enrichment activities for the students at JDCC.
Sherry Martin, director of administration and personnel at the college, said the Spring Tour of Homes was a success. It was the second in the past three years.
The people who made the trip to Brewton were just as generous with their praise, with some remarking that they would make plans to return.
