Burke's Outlet held is grand opening on April 14 with a 9 a.m. ribbon cutting.
Drawings for a $100 shopping spree were part of the weekend celebration. The new outlet, located at 1806 Douglas Ave., is 15,300 square feet and employs 10 associates and supervisors, including a store manager.
Burke's Outlet is part of a fast growing chain that is more than 465 stores strong.
Burke's Outlet stores have a wide variety of branded apparel for the whole family.
Departments include accessories, misses, juniors, childrens, infants, shoes, mens, home and gifts to name a few.
The outlet prices its merchandise up to 70 percent off department stores prices with an every day low prices philosophy.
Stores programs include the Monday Club, a senior shopping program that entitles customers aged 50 and over to a 15 percent discount off all purchases every Monday.
Shoppers not yet 50 save 15 percent on Fridays, as members of the Friday Club.
In addition, the outlet boasts a Frequent Shopper program that is open to customers of all ages and entitles the cardholder to deeper discounts.
