Mr. Jeff Nolan, 75, died Thursday, April 20, 2006, in Brewton. He was a native of Evergreen and had been a resident of the Brewton area since 1964. He served with the U.S. Army during the Korean conflict and the Army National Guard during Operation Desert Storm. He was a member of Little Zion Baptist Church of Evergreen.
He is survived by his wife, Nettie Nolan of Brewton; five sons, Jeffery C. (Jackie) Nolan and Timothy R. (Rose) Nolan, both of Ellenwood, Ga., Raymond E. Nolan of Mt. Vernon, Ala., Ricky C. Nolan of Burnt Corn and Darryl V. Nolan of Brewton; two daughters, Phyllis T. Carter and Tammie W. Nolan, both of Brewton; two brothers, Robert (Jean) Nolan of Detroit, Mich., and John (Arlene) Nolan of Ft. Washington, Md.; two sisters, Lula Tolbert of Boston, Mass., and Cora (Mack) Stallworth of Evergreen; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church from 10 a.m. until funeral time.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 26, at 11 a.m. at St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church with Dr. F. B. Lett officiating. Burial will follow with military honors at Oak Grove Cemetery with Craver's Funeral Home directing.
