JDCC graduation set for May 4

Jefferson Davis Community College will award more than 150 degrees and certificates at its spring graduation exercises on May 4.
The ceremony will be held at 6 p.m. in the Patterson Auditorium on the JDCC Brewton Campus. Escambia County Superintendent of Education Melvin Powell will deliver the commencement address.
Many of the graduates will transfer to four-year institutions while others will enter the workplace with skills in occupation programs, such as drafting and design, masonry, automotive body technology, and welding technology.
Jefferson Davis Community College offers a variety of programs, using flexible scheduling to meet student needs. Students may enroll in day classes, evening classes, online classes, and/or telecommunication classes.
