Mrs. Mary Alice Parker Sutton, 98, of School House Road, died Monday May 1, 2006, at her residence after an extended illness. She was a native and former resident of Roberts and a former resident of Apalachicola, Fla. She was retired from the seafood industry and a member of First Baptist Church of Apalachicola.
She is survived by two daughters, Jeanette Wilson of Roberts and Frances Carolyn Ewton of Panama City, Fla.; one brother, J.E. Parker of Bartow, Fla.; two sisters, Juanita McGraw of Bartow and Vermelle Blow of Montgomery; eight grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 3, at 11 a.m. at Kelly Funeral Home Chapel in Apalachicola with the Rev. Bill Plazarin officiating. Burial will follow in Magnolia Cemetery in Apalachicola with Kelly Funeral Home directing and Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home in charge of local arrangements.
