UWA honors retirees

LIVINGSTON, Ala. - The University of West Alabama recognized eight employees for their years of dedicated service to UWA at a recent retirement reception.
Dr. Donald Salter of Brewton was among the eight employees honored.
Salter is a professor of biological and environmental science; Dr. Martha Swedenburg King, assistant professor in foundations of education; Martha Shirley, information technologies librarian; Paul B. Stewart, information systems consultant; Beth Springer, associate professor of accounting; Dee Outlaw, UWA athletic director; and Patsy Reedy, former financial aid director, received personalized gifts from the university.
