Mr. Hugo Javan Moye, 68, of Alco Drive, died Tuesday May 2, 2006, in a Pensacola hospital after a brief illness. He was a native and life long resident of Escambia County. He was a member of Alco Baptist Church and owner/operator of Moyes Printing and Office Supply for 38 years.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Burkett Moye of Brewton; two daughters, Sharon Moye and Victoria Moye (Scotty) Nix, both of Brewton; two brothers, James Earl Moye of Foley and Charles Moye of Decatur, Ala.; three sisters, Daisy Childress of Flomaton, Ernestine Staehlin of Albuquerque, N.M. and Hazel (Jimmy) Pace of Monroeville; one grandson, Christopher Lee Moye of Mobile and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, May 7, at 3 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Jerry Caylor and the Rev. Jerry Keese officiating. Burial will follow in Catawba Springs Cemetery with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
