Not much changed in the final three innings of the Jefferson Davis Community College softball season Wednesday when the Lady Warhawks dropped a 7-3 road decision to Bishop State.
The game was originally suspended back on April 25 with Bishop State up 7-2 in the bottom of the fourth inning.
The only run in Wednesday's resumed play came in the top of the seventh when the Lady Warhawks scored to make it 7-3, but that was as close as they could get.
JDCC (9-15 in the Alabama Community College Conference and 19-34 overall) got a pair of hits and one RBI from Lakyn Newton. Stacy Sanders and Makeyia Burt each added a hit with two walks.
Nikki Madden took the loss.
