Mrs. Laurie McInnis Smith, 88, died Monday, May 1, 2006, in a Brewton nursing facility. She was a native of Conecuh County and had lived most of her life in the Brewton area. She was a homemaker and a member of North Brewton Baptist Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Marie (George) W. Mosley of Monroeville and Annette (Alvin) Hendrix of Brewton; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Thursday, May 4, from the chapel of Craver's Funeral Home with the Rev. Michael King and the Rev. Gary Miller officiating. Burial followed at Weaver Cemetery with Craver's Funeral Home directing. Pallbearers were Wesley Alexander, Jay Thomas, Alvin Hendrix Jr., Jacob Mosley, Thomas Alexander and Joshua Thomas.
