JDCC's Richardson signs to play at Florida Institute of Technology

Jefferson Davis Community Warhawks sophomore basketball player Arthur Richardson has signed to play at the Florida Institute of Technology.
Florida Institute of Technology is an NCAA Division II school located in Melbourne (Fla.).
Richardson, a 6-5 guard from Niceville (Fla.), was second on the Warhawks in scoring this past season behind Kedric Wilson at 15.5 points per game. Richardson was also second on the squad in three-point field goals made with 51 and free throw percentage at 74 percent (99-for-134). Richardson was an All-Alabama Community College Conference South Division Second Team selection this past season.
Richardson is headed to a Florida Institute of Technology program that finished 7-21 overall last season, 3-13 in the Sunshine State Conference.
Richardson missed seven games this past season due to injury.
