The Cardinals capped off the regular season championship of the Brewton Little League Age 9-10 division with a 15-10 victory over the Mets. The Cardinals finished regular season play with a 10-2 record.
The Astros widened their lead in the Age 11-12 division to two and one-half games over the Dodgers, as they knocked off the Red Sox 4-1 and the Orioles 11-8.
Age 9-10
Marlins 16, Cardinals 11
MARLINS: Keaton Parker scored three runs. Paxton Reiss and Christian Mancil had a single and scored two runs. Marquiese Thomas, Luke Issacson and Dillon Deslonde scored two runs.
CARDINALS: Keion Smith had a single. Kyle Davis and Ryann Gray scored two runs. Darby Black had a single and scored two runs.
Mets 11, Braves 7
METS: Zac Griffin had a double and scored two runs. Landen Huff and Christian Alvarez scored two runs. Dominique Jackson had a double, a homerun and scored three runs. Duncan Brittain had a single.
BRAVES: Caden Loge and Jones Manning had a single. Taylor Cordell scored two runs. Dedrionne Lee had a homerun.
