Yankees claim East Brewton Age 11-12 regular season crown

The Yankees wrapped up the regular season championship of the East Brewton Little League Age 11-12 division Saturday when they downed the Dodgers 11-6.
Meanwhile Brewton and East Brewton teams split Age 11-12 interleague games Friday. The East Brewton Cardinals knocked off the Brewton Orioles 8-3, while the Brewton Nationals downed the East Brewton Yankees 6-3.
Yankees 11, Dodgers 6
YANKEES: Gary McGraw threw a complete game seven-hitter with 11 strikeouts to get the win. McGraw also belted a homerun and scored three runs. Austin Redash had a single, a homerun and scored two runs. Houston Pace had a single and a double. Billie Strength had a single.
DODGERS: Taylor Ballard had three doubles and scored three runs. Logan Williamson had a single, a triple, a homerun and scored two runs. Josh Thompkins had a single.

(EB) CARDINALS: Brian Settle was the winning pitcher, as he allowed four hits and struck out one. Shawn Lucas had two singles and scored two runs. Joseph Strength had a double and scored two runs. Keith Bradley had two singles. Brant Blackwell had a single.
(B) ORIOLES: Jay Fillmore had a double. Dylan Bell, Tyler Dehoff and Marc Edge had a single.
(B) Nationals 6, (EB) Yankees 3
(B) NATIONALS: William Whittle and Parker Reiss combine don a no-hitter. Whittle got the win and struck out five, while Reiss fanned 10. Rob Stokes had a single and scored two runs. Ryan Hunt had a single.
