One former T.R. Miller Tigers assistant football coach will soon be joining the staff of another former T.R. Miller assistant.
Greg Ennis, who coached linebackers, defensive ends and assisted with the offensive line during his 10-year stint with the Tigers from 1994-2003, has joined Jack Whigham's staff at Opp. Whigham coached T.R. Miller's offensive line from 1991 through last fall. Whigham left T.R. Miller this spring.
Opp is Ennis' third stop in three seasons since his stint at T.R. Miller. Ennis served as defensive coordinator at Robert E. Lee in Montgomery in 2004. Last season Ennis was the head coach at Georgiana where he guided the Panthers to a 4-6 overall record, 1-6 in Class 2A Region 1.
Ennis will also serve as softball coach at Opp.
