W.S. Neal High School's top two students urged their classmates to embrace the future Friday night as the Class of 2006 graduated.
She told seniors to &#8220do what makes you happy” as they make choices about the future.
Valedictorian Andrea King asked students to be &#8220passionate” about their career choices - and to make sure those choices are their own.
Graduation speaker Dr. Tony Frazier, state veterinarian, told seniors the determination he learned as a student at W.S. Neal helped him in his career.
During the graduation ceremony at the high school auditorium, students carried on a longstanding school tradition of handing out yellow carnations to their mothers and, in some cases, grandmothers.
Before handing out diplomas, Principal Phil Ellis noted this was W.S. Neal's 76th graduation ceremony.
