Mr. Russell Hunter Watson, 37, died suddenly Sunday, May 28, 2006, at his residence on Bristol Lane. He was a native and lifelong resident of Brewton. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Brewton, a member of Disabled American Veterans and was employed as a maintenance worker by Diamond Gasoline.
He is survived by his mother, Betty Morris Watson of Brewton; a brother, Rick (Amy) Morris Watson of Darmstadt, Germany; a sister, Becky Watson (Jim) Hammric of East Brewton and two nephews.
Visitation will be held Thursday, June 1, from 2 to 3 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 1, at 3 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Bill McMurray officiating. Burial will follow at Union Cemetery in Georgiana with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
