Moving downtown is not the only change for this year's Alabama Blueberry Festival.
The event, in its 26th year , will move from the campus of Jefferson Davis Community College to the streets and parks in downtown Brewton.
And the festival has picked up some new events this year, including a motorcycle show and the return of an antique car show.
Even with some new events, the festival will still have old favorites, from the children's activities and entertainment to arts and crafts and the unique blueberry ice cream made specially for the festival.
Moving the festival downtown is an effort to bring new life to the festival, Klenk and chamber of commerce director Judy Crane said.
Attendance at the festival has fallen in recent years, and organizers hope they will be able to attract local residents and visitors to the downtown venue.
