Three more members from this past season's Jefferson Davis Community College Warhawks basketball team will be taking their skills to the four-year level.
Kedric Wilson and Jairus Jackson will continue to be teammates at Shorter College, a National Association Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) member located at Rome (Ga.). Shorter competes in the Southern States Athletic Conference.
Wilson, a 6-5 sophomore from Raceland (La.), was an All-Alabama Community College Conference South Division First Team selection last season. Wilson led the Warhawks in scoring at 17.7 points and rebounding at seven boards per game. Wilson shot 45 percent from the field and 72 percent from the free throw line.
Jackson, a 6-0 sophomore from Mobile, averaged 12.8 points per game. Jackson led the Warhawks from three-point land with 66 treys and also shot a team best 43 percent from that area. He also dished out 2.9 assists per contest.
Donovan McMullen, a 6-10 sophomore from Atlanta, is headed back to that area to attend Reinhardt College. Reinhardt, which is also an NAIA school, is located at Waleska (Ga.). McMullen averaged 2.8 points and 3.8 rebounds a game last season. McMullen led JDCC with 57 blocked shots, 36 more than any other JDCC player.
Earlier Arthur Richardson, a 6-3 sophomore from Niceville (Fla.), signed with Florida Institute of Technology.
