Mrs. Lucille Davis Bonds, 76, died Thursday, June 1, 2006. She was a native of Flomaton, a former resident of Jay, Fla. and a resident of McDavid, Fla. She had been a school bus driver for 26 years with the Escambia County, Fla. School System. She was a member of Century United Methodist Church for many years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Malcolm Bonds; her son, Jerry Bonds; four brothers, Dan Davis, Lomax Davis, Frank Davis and Ed Davis; and her parents, Charlie and Essie Davis.
She is survived by her son, Larry (JoAnne) Bonds of Atmore; three daughters, Dianne (Coy) Campbell of Molino, Fla., Sue Hadden of McDavid and Terry (Tony) Taliancich of Merritt Island, Fla.; her brother, Arthur Raymond Davis of Gulf Shores; 13 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held today, Sunday, June 4, at 3 p.m. at Century United Methodist Church with the Rev. Janet Lee officiating. Burial will follow at Flomaton Cemetery with Petty Funeral Home directing. Pallbearers will be Larry Wayne Bonds, Steven Bonds, Joshua Bonds, Bobby Williams, Tim Dunsford and Matt Taliancich.
