T.R. Miller Lady Tigers senior outfielder Haley Rilling has received Honorable Mention on the Alabama Sports Writers Association Class 3A All-State Team for the second season in a row.
Rilling was the catalyst for the T.R. Miller offense in the leadoff position where she batted a team best .534.
The Class 3A First Team had quite a northern flavor, as no players from south of Montgomery were selected.
Pitchers included Holly Ragsdale of Dadeville, Sam Hendrix of Madison Academy, Katie Aaron of Alabama Christian and Alisha Smith of Springville, catcher Paige Darwin of Pisgah, first baseman Lauren Shelton of Lauderdale County, second baseman Kaitlyn Griffith of Cherokee County, shortstop Whitni Tucker of Pisgah, third baseman Kayla Ambrosius of Ashville, outfielders Breanna Ball of Pisgah, Laci Newman of Northside and Allison Padgett of Dadeville, utility players Erin Duke of Munford and Lauren Webster of Alabama Christian, and designated hitters Sara Allen of LAMP and Laci Driggers of Leed.
