The 21st judicial circuit court in Escambia County will open a busy criminal court term Monday with cases including an alleged attempted murder and several drug incidents.
On Tuesday, Stephen Allen White is scheduled to go to trial on an indictment for attempted murder.
Billy said the case stems from a stabbing incident at an Atmore convenience store.
The court has subpoened 220 potential jurors for the court term, which will also include cases involving charges of shooting into an occupied vehicle, assault, theft of property, DUI and various drug possession and distribution charges.
