Mrs. Ora Adelle Downing Trawick, 86, of Roosevelt Street, died Sunday, June 18, 2006, at a local hospital after an extended illness. She was a native of Appleton and a long time resident of East Brewton. She was a homemaker and a pioneer member of the East Brewton Church of God. She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Lee Stephen Trawick.
She is survived by two sons, Marvin (Shelia) Trawick of Century, Fla., and Stanley (Cindy) Trawick of Cantonment, Fla.; three daughters, Jean (Billy) Savage of Brewton, Pam (Calvin) Slate of Jay, Fla., and Jenny Nichols of Bermuda; one sister, Estelle (Horace) Laymon of East Brewton; 11 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held today, Wednesday, June 21, at 10 a.m. at the East Brewton Church of God with the Rev. James Wiggins officiating. Burial will follow at Beulah Cemetery with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
