Minnie Howard Bambarger Jackson

Mrs. Minnie Howard Bambarger Jackson, 82, died Wednesday, June 28, 2006, at her residence in East Brewton after an extended illness. She was a native of Eutaw, a former resident of Houston, Texas, and a long-time resident of East Brewton. She was of the Pentecostal faith and a retired draw twist operator from the textile industry. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Jackson and a grandson, James Timothy Thompson.
She is survived by two sons, Samuel (Claire) Jackson of Pensacola, Fla., and Thomas Wayne (Terry) Jackson of Pelham; four daughters, Diane Rowell of East Brewton, Barbara Ann (Jimmy) Harrison and Ellen Thompson, both of Alabaster, and Martha (Glenn) Cook of Brewton; a brother, Charlie Thomas Bambarger of South Carolina; a half brother, Chester Bambarger of Tuscaloosa; a half sister, Linda Nell Bambarger of Eutaw; eight grandchildren, Kelly Grey Harrison, Angel Blackmon, Cheryl Jackson, Anissa Lowell, Robin Blackburn, Jonathan Thompson, Danyell Jackson and Heath Jackson and 13 great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Friday, June 30, at 3 p.m. at East Brewton First Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Paul Bush and Bro. Kermit George officiating. Burial followed at Green Acres Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.
