Mr. Leemond F. Kelly, 81, died Monday, July 3, 2006, at a Mobile hospital. He was a native of Century, Fla. and a resident of Flomaton for most of his life. He was a member of the Flomaton Church of Christ and retired from St. Regis with 33 years of service.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Margie S. Kelly of Flomaton; a son, Bill (Anita) Kelly of Flomaton; a daughter, Karen Dianne (Larry) White of Flomaton; a brother, Wendell Kelly of Mobile; a sister, Betty Redmond of Century, Fla.; six grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Funeral services was held Thursday, July 6, at 11 a.m. at the Flomaton Church of Christ with ministers Billy Lambert and Pete Davis officiating. Burial followed at Flomaton Cemetery with Petty-Eastside Chapel Funeral Home directing. Pallbearers were Billy Hines, Pat Jarvis, Billy Sunday, Ron McDaniel, Ken Hall and Mike Sims. Honorary pallbearers were E.A. Maness, Spike Barton, Thomas Agee, Guy Walker, Jimmy Kelly and Harvey Kelley.
